Ace, also known as Ace the Owl, is not, in fact, an owl—though he lives a little like one.

He spends most of his days hidden away in his room, writing beneath the glow of a computer screen, avoiding sunlight, maintaining a deeply questionable sleep schedule, and occasionally emerging in search of food.

Observe him carefully, and you may witness the rare author leaving his natural habitat, blinking suspiciously at the outside world before retreating indoors once more.

Ace also enjoys speaking about himself in the third person, as it provides him with comforting illusions of grandeur and makes everything he does sound far more important than it actually is.

When he is not writing, he is usually thinking about writing, procrastinating instead of writing, or convincing himself that reorganizing his notes technically counts as writing.
