About Me Hi, I’m Aaron Montgomery. I teach high school science and special education. Before I started teaching, I served as an Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Air Force. I’m a proud father of three amazing kids who have shown me nothing but love and support through this wild writing journey. You’ll find pieces of them throughout my stories — from characters named in their honor to bits of their spirit woven into the worlds I create. When I’m not teaching or writing, I coach high school soccer, hit the trails in my Jeep and SXS, and spend as much time as I can with family, friends, and my dogs. I’m a self-proclaimed nerd who loves Star Wars, science fiction novels, and video games. Writing has been an incredible adventure, and I’m deeply thankful to my family and friends for standing by me every step of the way. A special acknowledgment to my high school English teachers — who are no doubt rolling over in their graves knowing I finally managed to put more than a few sentences together at once, something they could never quite get me to do.
