A.N. Payton loves writing books that have magic, mystery, and determined heroines who choose both strength and love - while rolling their eyes at anyone who says they can't have both. If you’re in the mood for an emotionally satisfying fantasy adventure (with a healthy dose of romance and banter) designed to leave you feeling fulfilled and empowered, you’re in the right place.

A.N. Payton spends her days at a top-secret job (if she told you, she’d have to kill you), which proves real life is more wild than fiction. At night she escapes by writing new worlds and problems for someone else to solve - probably with a sword.

She lives in the pacific northwest with a husband she loves (depending on the day), two kids she loves (most of the time), and a dog she loves (all the time).
