Author Bio: Alia is a survivor, a truth-teller, and a poet who has reclaimed her voice through the power of words. In her searing debut memoir Before I Was Born, She Did This, she lays bare a childhood marked by cruelty, silence, and systemic failure, and the resilience that carried her through. Raised under a false identity and trapped in a home where neglect and abuse were routine, Alia endured the unimaginable.
