I was looking for a steamy book and I definitely found it! The detail in the scenes are just 🔥🥵
Even though I spent the last 2 hours of the book crying my eyes out for Shawn. The ending was worth the heart break.
This is my first time listening to a book by Sierra and I was not let down. I will now being binge listening to this whole series. ❤

Jacob Morgan once again does an incredible job bringing this story to life.
It’s not perfect – like with Priest, it’s hard to really get a sense of the FMC, since it’s almost entirely from the MMC POV, and as a result, it can be annoying for the listener to see the character’s glaringly obvious flaws, yet never have them fully realised because the MMC considers them flawless. But it’s easy to get past it as you’re drawn into this world.
I also didn’t appreciate how often 36 was called “old” 😝
Spice level: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
Narration style: mostly solo, though 2 short chapters told from FMC POV is has female narrator
Tropes: age-gap (21 & 36), spice coaching, secret romance
Potential triggers: discussions around suicide and SA in the church (off page, same as in Priest), cancer, on page death of loved one, a LOT of discussion of Catholicism, both critical and favourable
Even better than Priest - spicy, mostly solo narration

I didn't read Priest first, and it's not really necessary, but recommended., i did go back and listen to it. This one is a little lighter than Priest (i say lighter, and by lighter i mean ever so slightly)
Sierra Simone doesn't disappoint with her writing. It's actually kind of hard to put into words how good she actually writes.
She physically seduces you, when her characters seduce each other, she physically takes you on the emotional rollercoaster and makes you feel everything her characters feel, its something i have come across before but not on her level.
This is a book and series, that i would say, i highly recommend you take a chance on, if your up in the air. it wont disappoint.
It's the right amount of Hot, heavy, more hot and heavy and extra hot and heavy.

Decent level of smut, this brother is definitely one who enjoys a female body.
I do enjoy this love story. I also liked we heard from the brother who was the mmc in the first book priest.

The next one is mm which isn’t normally my go too but I’ll attempt it.
