Lennox Freeman (Free) is one of the best hackers in the world which has caused him to spend most of his life on the run. Never able to put down roots, he couldn't trust anyone not to take advantage of him, even his own family.
Ivan Hart has lived and bled one creed all of his life: To Serve and Protect. His intense focus and determination in law enforcement has led him to finally commanding his own team. He'd worked hard to put together a squad of badasses capable of backing up a very dangerous team of detectives. Being God and Day's last line of defense came with a lot of responsibility that he took very seriously.
After his divorce was final Hart turned right around and remarried his job. He had his good friends there in the office with him every day, so it was easier to ignore the few quiet hours he spent at home alone each night. He'd settled well into his new routine and was comfortable with it. Then God decided to disrupt everything by hiring another tech specialist for his department. A man whose brains, trendy looks, and voice would leave Hart tongue-tied and captivated at their first introduction.

This book held my heart from start to finish. The angst was heartbreaking, but the love shined through & who doesn't love an English accent. Len is an absolute angel 😇❤️
Also loved the bonus chapters at the end (Dominic-Bull & Mandel-Fox) 😍🥰

The Nerd and the SWAT—high action and steam!
Lennox ‘Free’ Freeman won’t win any muscle contests but he’s a tech giant whose skills are very welcome in the high-testosterone environment of God and Day’s elite narcotics squad. Unfortunately, Free captures the unwanted advances of a police bully and Head of the SWAT Team, Ivan Hart, has to throw his weight around and step in. Hart’s self-esteem is still low after leaving his vicious wife and he battles unfamiliar feelings of protectiveness and more towards Free. Maybe they are just what the other man needs!
I loved this variation on ‘the Nerd and the Jock’! Under all that muscle and command, Hart was a thoroughly decent guy and just right for the beleaguered Free. Both backstories were gripping and each guy had a personal devil to deal with—although Hart’s ex-wife surely couldn’t been as bad as she is painted here. 🎧 Aiden Snow unleashed that deep voice of his so the action was fantastic and the sex sizzled—too good!!

Perfection continues!!
I was waiting to read the story about these two and it did not disappoint. All of the team are a great part of the story and I love this.
Aiden Snow’s narration is perfect as always❤️

He’s only ever wanted a simple life, never settling down roots anywhere so he could pack up and leave if needed, until he meets the SWAT captain Ivan Heart and everything changes.

This is a SWAT spinoff but still entwined with the Nothing Special series and again it was another great book! I just can’t get over the humour in these and this one was just as good!
I loved Heart and his story was so heartbreaking, this poor man deserves to be loved so much after what his 'nocomment' of a ex wife did to him… Free was his perfect match 🥹🥹
Damnnnn, the way Free FINALLY give Vazquez whats coming to him..., I loveeeee!!!!
