Supreme Court hearing on Presidential immunity from criminal prosecution; widespread protests for the Hamas and against Israel and the US

  • Summary

  • There was an important hearing before the US Supreme Court on April 25th in the District of Columbia criminal trial against Trump. It is clear that the Supreme Court will reverse the decision of the DC Circuit Court of Appeals that said that Trump had no immunity from criminal prosecution. The ruling should come down in late June. This will likely result in a delay in that criminal trial until after the November presidential election.
There have been widespread pro-Hamas demonstrations on college campuses which are threatening Jewish students. These are disgraceful, ignorant and offensive. The far left radicals in American universities are showing that the so-called institutes of higher learning--including Harvard, Yale, NYU, Columbia, and Berkeley--are succeeding at teaching students to be Marxists and terrorists, rather than patriotic and educated people.

Remember that the liberties we enjoy in American can be maintained only when the citizens are informed participants in the democratic processes The Closing Argument will help us to do this. www.cpaulsmith.com
