Miller "Buck" Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed-up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided he's ready for a girlfriend. A real, nonbunny girlfriend to take on dates and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation.
Miller thinks he's found that woman in his teammate's sister. Except, unlike team captain and all-around nice guy Alex Waters - who happens to date his stepsister - Miller's media reputation as a manwhore is well earned. Beyond that minor detail, Miller doesn't know the first thing about relationships or the time and effort they require.
Miller learns - eventually - that if he wants to make Sunshine "Sunny" Waters fall for him, he's going to have to do a whole lot more than show her his stick skills in the bedroom.

I really enjoyed the prequel of this book with Violet and Alex though this was nothing short of boring. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen but girl goes away they break up get back together .. The end. Wouldn't recommend this at all
"The best Pucking Books Ever😬"
If you want to have a fun time with a book the is it. This is a really fabulous series. I laugh so hard listening to these books. They really put a smile on my face. Pucking happy 😬
"Perfect audiobook to embrace the Yeti"
*SIGH!* I love all the Pucked Men but my favorite of all of them is Miller. He is sweet and perfect! I love the way he loves. What started as a revenge move, more like a thought because once he spend a little time with Sunny he knew she would be the girl he wanted to be his girlfriend, quickly moved into something more meaningful and challenging for him. He had to change a lot to prove everybody he was worth Sunny’s love and I’m so happy he could accomplish it.
Obviously Miller couldn’t do it all by himself, he had the help of Queen Violet and his best friend Randy. Love all my beloved Pucked Characters.
I love the conversarion with Miller and Sunny af the end, the conversation that solves the drama!! *Not saying, it's a spoiler*
Embrace the Yeti
Joe Arden has the perfect voice for Miller. It’s smooth and slow. It has the strength of Miller’s personality but also shows the vulnerability of Miller’s in certain situations in this book. Joe’s inflexions for Sunny were so great, translating her sweet personality and when they were having sex, it was so sexy and perfect. I seriously loved this audiobook as much as I loved the book. 100% Recommended.
"5 thumbs up"
I'm actually in love with this man! I expected this book to be from 2 first person points of view, but just being from his made it different.....and wonderful!
I really love it!! The story was perfect and the narrator was Who sold it. Great voice Joe Arden!!
this book was all sex. also using the word puck(ING) for the F-word, just annoying. I get that is the title, but give me a break. there was no connection between the characters. h goes off with an ex but H doesn't mind, even after all the pic's of them all cuddled up together. H meets up with h and it's all sex and hardly any talking. another bad pic and h runs off with ex again after H gets punched and is bleeding. with the H, at least you understand the misunderstandings with his pic's. h is a stupid little girl and the whole vegan thing just made me roll my eyes. then h & H get back together after a few words and start having sex. I wish the H found a more worthy girl for his love. no man, no matter how much in love, would ever be okay with his woman running off with her ex twice. there is no words of how bad this book is.
"5 PUCKING STARS!!!! Awesome series!"
I love everything about this audiobook! I could listen to Joe Arden's voice all day every day- Super sexy!! I laughed out loud so much during this story. Great series!!! Cant wait to read more!
"A few two many repeats of being stupid."
When you after only two situations/anecdotes in a really long book realize that even before EVERY situation the man lead character is going into you know that it is going to go wrong, missunderstandings is a given and confrontations with the female character is always the result. You can't really give the writer two thumbs up for originality or giving the characters a bit more depth and layers. The female Sunny for example is like a broken record. "I know it looks worse than it is in the photos but but but".
That it really early on was clear before every other situation what was going to go wrong and that the character Sunny was going to react the same again and again without actually taking a breath and LISTEN before the hysteria began.
Kind of, I felt for the male lead.
I guess this is kind of what people like with the genre, the missunderstandings galore with a kind of happy ending.
"1 was hard to beat."
I was not itching to finish. cute enough but 1 was such a...fest. moving onto 3. I trust this author!!!
Very cute. Books 2 and 3 are not quite as good as the first. But it was still a fun read.
"loved Bucks POV"
as much as I liked book from Bucks POV i wasnt so shure if Sunny even liked him. she was so uninterested, it looked like Buck was alone in reletionship! no spark at alll!
