Publisher's Summary

They run this town and everyone in it.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses.

Yes, sold me.

They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant. These men, they look at me with longing. Their scarred, blood-stained hands holding me tight. They want everything I am, everything I have to give, and won’t stop until they get just that. They can own my body, but they will never have my heart.

The Vipers? I’m going to make them regret the day they took me.

This girl? She bites, too.

This is a reverse-harem romance. It contains scenes and references to abuse, assault, violence, and sex.

Narration Hurts

The book is repetitive, the plot flawed and the accents attempted by the narrators- unbearable.

Would have been 5 stars but…

I absolutely loved this book but the performance from the female voice actor was so BAD. Would it have been so hard to find an English actor? Or find someone who could actually pull off a half decent English accent? Think Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins. So bad. Totally took me out of the story and really did a disservice to the book. Should be re-recorded.

Recommend!!

The story is spicy so be prepared and read trigger warnings! I definitely recommend and pushing through the narration.
Yes the Narration does take a bit to get used to. I find the voice speed helps, find a speed that makes it easier for you. I had it on 2.00 really fast to get through the first bit, but as I got used to the voice narration I brought it down to 1.75 speed. Yes the male voice is really harsh to listen to if you aren't used to the accent. I first wished they went with a more posh British accent but after researching, I found that the Author picks the Narrators to bring the story to life how the Author see's it. So I decided to keep listening hearing the story how the Author wants it to come across. Just another prospective when listening to audio books.
Highly recommend give it a go!

The narration is almost unbearable

I love this book, I’ve read it before and wanted to reread it so I decided to download the audiobook and it was the worst decision. I ended up going back to reading it on kindle because the accents the narrators put on are really awful and completely unsexy, the bad accents kept dragging me out of the story and I just couldn’t sink in to the plot like I did the first time I read it.

Buy the book not this audiobook

The story is great but the narrators are horrific
From the terrible English accents to the narrators forgetting which accent they are doing it was hard to follow.
I wish I had listened to the sample
This needs to be redone

Not what I expected.

I had seen this all over Tik Tok and was super curious, so I bit the bullet and got it. I loved the story itself but was a bit taken aback by the narration. I was not expecting the accent and I just could not picture the characters in my head the way that they were being described. I kept getting images of middle aged mobsters from Snatch. In saying that the narrator's performances were fantastic, they brought each chapter to life with their enthusiasm and dedication to the characters. Iam still in 2 minds about Diesel and how far his characters fetishes and kink went. Realistic? I'm not sure. Trigger warning is a must. The last hour of the book does drag on and it just seems each chapter is a bit lost of a storyline so it becomes repetitive sex scenes. Overall if you love getting down and dirty, with some revenge and epic kinky fetishes then I think you will enjoy.

Decent reverse harem

Some of the accents I didn’t like at first, then the voices grew on me as I wouldn’t want the accents to be anything else. I did fully enjoy the story and the performance overall, was looking forward to finally getting around to this novel and it surely did not disappoint
