Are Alyzon's new abilities a blessing...or a curse? Alyzon Whitestarr doesn't take after her musically talented father or her nocturnal, artistic mother. In fact, she's the most normal member of a very eccentric family...until the day that an accident leaves her more unique than she ever could have dreamed.

Great story, great narrater, Australian!
I love when authors narrate their own work and its especially epic when each book in a series is 20+ hours long. Isobelle's quality storyline is complimented with her vibrant and diverse character performances. Cant wait to finish the series - Audible stop teasing and release them all please! I love Australian narraters, but she can do a lot of accents too.

Loving this series! Absolutely enthralled!
I'm used to trilogies and am so glad the story doesn't finish here! Looking forward to hearing more. I'm addicted! The story drags you in and you're along for the ride. Can't wait to see where it takes these wonderful characters next. It's also great to hear the author read her own work. Thank you so much for sharing your talent Isobelle!

Exciting to continue the dark path
Love this series!! Revisited it after I enjoyed it in high school and was not disappointed. The series seems to really find it’s stride in this book, lots of interesting arcs to enjoy. And a delight to have the author narrate!

finding her footing
The first time I read this I thought some parts were two drawn out, but when I listened to it again almost a decade later I really enjoyed the whole thing. Found it really suspenseful in parts and loved to see Elspeth maturing. She is beginning to find her footing and the quest she is on.
