Hi, I'm Susan Horton, I am a practicing, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and the former Director of a therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens, I have worked with hundreds of families to improve connection, communication and resilience. I am also the mother of four young adults. Through a series of effective strategies and personal stories presented in this book, I offer clear and concise ideas on how to raise a strong family. It has always been my greatest passion is to help as many parents and practioners as possible by offering real approaches that can prevent significant disconnection from emerging in a family. This is my first book, so I am very excited to share these experiences that I know can create positive change, through my direct experience working with so many families.
