Member of both the Horror Writers Association and New England Horror Writers, when Rob Smales isn't at the day job or caring for his twenty-something son and their two dogs, he's writing something either funny or scary, but quite likely dark. Author of dozens of short stories, the collection Echoes of Darkness, the novella Friends in High Places, and his newest release, a creepy-crawley little book titled LaundryLegs, Rob identifies as a dad, writer, editor, and postal worker—in that order. He hails from Salem, Massachusetts, where he writes, works, and, occasionally, sleeps.
