P.C. Marotta was born in Brooklyn New York, 1963. Loving animals her whole life she merged two careers into one with her extensive knowledge of veterinary sciences and creative writing to tell the stories that teach lessons and will last a lifetime. Changing the world...One Story At A Time? That's her motto and yes it can be done with baby steps, we all can. The only child of Italian American parents and Italian immigrant grandparents her love for cooking was formed early on. Reflected in her foundation books, Brooklyn Italian and In My Mother's Kitchen both stories and recipes that bring families together once again around the table. Pairing together with the very talented children's book illustrator A.L. Houghton from the United Kingdom their children's books series bring to life characters that children will come to know and love. Twinkle, Teddy, Binky, Izzy, Sweet Pea, Squeak, Prince and Willie are more than story characters, they are real life dogs...perhaps with their own stories to tell! An advocate for the arts, each story has coloring pages in the back for children to express their own creativity.
