Growing up in North Carolina, author Michael Crawford spent his vacations attempting to ride Horizons and the WEDWay PeopleMover as many times as possible. In those unfortunate periods between vacations, he pored over issues of Disney News and any book he could get his hands on about Walt Disney and his company's creations. After a long and forgettable attempt at pursuing a respectable life, he finally embraced the inevitable and began to write professionally. Writing online about Disney history began as a hobby, but soon found him creating research pieces for D23, the Official Disney Fan Club, as well as the Walt Disney Family Foundation. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida.
