Mark Abramson was a Midwestern farm boy who joined the great gay migration to San Francisco in the 1970s. His writing has appeared in the gay press as far back as Christopher Street, Fag Rag, Gay Sunshine, Mouth of the Dragon and in the highly acclaimed anthology "Charmed Lives, gay spirit in storytelling." In addition to seven books in his Beach Reading mystery series, he has published five non-fiction books, including "Farm Boy," "Minnesota Boy," "Sex, Drugs & Disco," "MORE Sex, Drugs & Disco," "For My Brothers," and recently, "River Days, River Nights - true gay adventures at the Russian River (1976-1984)." He is currently working on "Diaries from the New Pandemic." An eighth and final Beach Reading book is still in the works too.
