Lisa fell in love with the idea of storytelling when she first discovered the world of books at a very early age. For as long as she can remember she has wanted to write. Now, after following several different paths, the written word has once again called to her. Her first published piece, Jacob's Awakening, first appeared in "Miraculous: Tales of the Unknown." It has since been revised and updated, and appears both as a stand-alone short story and as part of “The Witches Cavern.” Readers will be able to learn and discover more about Jacob in Lisa's upcoming novel. Lisa was born and raised in New York and then moved to Florida just prior to graduating high school. She can now be found, however, in the midst of a national forest in Michigan where she has rediscovered her love of nature and the outdoors. She spends her free time reading and trying to instill the love of books in her children. Lisa currently has several writing projects in the works and is frequently found either with her nose in her Kindle devouring yet another great novel or with her fountain pen in hand, penning one of her own.
