Jim has served as vice-chairman of several of the world’s most powerful advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, McCaffrey and McCall, and Hill Holiday/Wakeman & DeForrest. Jim has significantly influenced and directed corporate development and acquisitions specializing in West Coast and Pacific Rim clients including MGM/UA, Orion Films, Sears, Marriott Resorts, Mercedes Benz, DeBeers Inc, T.Rowe Price, Geneve Corporation, Infinity, Monex, Epson, Jenny Craig, Shaw Industries, White Westinghouse, PacTel, Cellular/Pacific Telesis, Vartech, RCA, Mayflower, McDonald’s, Carl’s Jr., Falcon Jets, and The Cotton Council. He was executive producer at Metromedia Producers Group and has created and produced primetime network specials as well as network-syndicated releases. He has been involved in the release of more than 50 motion pictures, including numerous Academy Award winner and nominees. He has been honored with more than 50 ADDY Awards, Clio Awards, and Golden Quill Awards and is a recipient of advertising’s highest honor, The Silver Medal Award. He has managed hundreds of million of dollars of advertising contracts on behalf of advertisers around the world. Jim was a founding member of Madison Avenue Media and LWR Partners, Inc., and manages corporate relationships for the firms. Jim has applied his extensive advertising, writing, song writing, television, media and film industry experience to films such as: Dances with Wolves; License to Kill; The Silence of the Lambs; Rain Man; Driving Miss Daisy; Fried Green Tomatoes; Porky’s; Road House; Shade; The Witness; The Big Easy; The Stunt Man; All Roads Lead Home; Love at First Bite; Betrayed; Seed of Chucky; My Bodyguard.
