Dan J. Dreyer. Born 74. Dan writes. Sometimes scary, sometimes gruesome. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad. Horror, thriller, fantasy. He's got a sizzlebrain. You never know what's going to come out of it and his fingers next. Least of all himself. History is his great passion. Followed by fantasy in the style of JRR Tolkien and Michael Moorcock, among others. NO, Dan (pronounced "Dahn" - not Dän) is not a hand dryer. He is a frequent reader, a frequent writer, a frequent traveler and martial artist (RBSP & Combatives) He works as a trainer and regularly participates in "Self-Protection Seminars" at home and abroad. Among his greatest influences in this field is Rory Miller. --- "SoulSucker" - FlammenBringer Book 1 is the prelude to a fantasy trilogy within a 1800s setting. Book 2 ‚BruntKeeper‘ and Book 3 ‚WorldEater‘ will follow soon. For the Flamebringer trilogy, he uses European history around the Napoleonic era as a matrix, and lays his fantasy story on top of it. The result is a genre mix of historical novel–enriched by epic battles–and classic high fantasy: ›Fantasy 1800‹ --- As an illustrator, he co-publishes with Nick Reinhart "The Dream Guardians" Trilogy. A children's book that teaches little dreamers about lucid dreaming and helps them cope with their nightmares. (available in german only - for now) — More projects are in the works.
