Charles Kollar grew up in New York where he worked as a drummer with various club bands. At age 23 he had a life-changing personal encounter with Jesus. Due to this encounter he began a life of service that has included being the pastor of four congregations, serving three tours as a U.S. Navy Chaplain and becoming an author and counselor. The heart of Dr. Kollar's message is a joy-filled faith and a life that focuses on God's possibilities as already achieved. His passion for seeing God's purpose fulfilled is presently impacting the Pocono's where he serves as Lead Pastor at Innovation Church (InnovationLife.org). Charles received his undergraduate degree from Northwest University, a Master of Divinity from the Assembly of God Theological Seminary and his Doctorate at Fuller Theological Seminary. A Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Charles is the author of Solution-Focused Pastoral Counseling, Mastering Life, Master of the Ride, Brief Christian Counseling and is featured in Strategies for Brief Pastoral Counseling, edited by Howard Stone. Charles and and his wife Dawn have three grown children and six amazing grandchildren. They reside in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania.
