Dr. Bobby Koneru is a TEDx speaker and founder of POG, a cancer services organization serving rural communities throughout the United States. His book, "Confessions of a Radiation Oncologist: What You Don't Know About Cancer and Radiation Therapy" is available on Amazon.com. After treating thousands of cancer patient's, Dr. Koneru realized that the available information for patients receiving radiation therapy was too complex or insufficient. In order to better empower patients, he created a book that is highly digestible and readable for anyone diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Koneru was born in Hyderabad, India and raised in Chicago for most of his life. He did his training for radiation oncology at Northwestern University in Chicago. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling, and learning various arts. His mission is to help enhance the current cancer care model so that it is more accessible to every patient.
