Girl genius GiGi is in a lot of hot water. A whiz with computers, she agrees to help her college RA, David, uncover some top-secret information. After all, she doesn't have family or many friends, and David has always been nice to her. It doesn't hurt that he's super cute and irresistible, too. All she has to do is hack into the government's main computer system. But a few hours later, her whole life changes.

Thirteen-year-old Ronnie was looking forward to summer on Harbor Island with her best friends, Mia and Charlie. The trio called themselves "the Clamdiggers," because they were as close as clams. They did everything together: boating, waterskiing, fishing, swimming, and playing their favorite after-dark game—spying on the Island's residents. But now, Ronnie finds that Mia and Charlie are growing up faster than she is, and the Clamdiggers seem to be falling apart.

Lovable GiGi is pairing up with expert linguist Darren, aka Parrot, on a mission to South America. When a centuries-old vase is found in a cave full of hieroglyphics, it is discovered that this vase was important to at least 15 different North American and South American Indian tribes. And now all 15 nations want it back. They are meeting in Rutina, South America, to "decide" who gets the vase.
