The Agile methodology is a project management methodology that uses short development cycles (called "sprints") to focus on continuous improvement in the development of a product or service. It consists of a family of methods (including Scrum, extreme programming (XP), test-driven development (TDD), and feature-driven development (FDD), each of which has the objective to provide a better product in less time, avoiding development of useless functions and overcoming errors that a traditional planning method could result in, both for big and small projects.
