Justice Magic

Historically, Hoodoo was the magic of the disenfranchised, marginalized, and vulnerable. It was born of the need to obtain justice, power, and protection, as these were not typically naturally forthcoming. The ancestors and earliest practitioners of Hoodoo were enslaved African Americans, followed by their descendants and neighbors.

Three children - an eight-year-old boy and two six-year-old girls - see violence so terrifying that they retreat into the magical, make-believe world of Puff the Magic Dragon, where they feel safe and secure. Private investigator Walt Williams teams up with Lady Justice and Puff to protect the kids from vicious muggers, an abusive husband, and a sexual predator. Once again, justice is served when Walt and his senior sidekicks come to the rescue. A story filled with fears, tears, laughter, and hope.

The goddess is on the run, and the hunt has begun. Gone are the days of worry and injustice. Now, with the combined power of the armies of Roneland, the Ghostland clans, and the king of Gulanri, there will be retribution. Evil will make its last stand and find out that the combined armies of the Lost Isles mean business. But the hunt brings the siblings to the enemy's lair, and this serpent's venom is deadly. They must move carefully in this war against evil, or be swallowed up and lost to the clutches of darkness.
