The Book of the Dead is an ancient Egyptian funerary text written on papyrus and used from the beginning of the New Kingdom. The Egyptians were a visionary people. They had Seers, what they called "Peter" in Egyptian. What scholars refer to as myths are in reality prophesies and therefore can be referred to as scripture. One such prophesy has to do with the Egyptian god Osiris. The Greek historian Plutarch wrote about the death of Osiris beyond what the Egyptian texts do. In his account Osiris was the king of Egypt.

The Bible is a collection of Egyptian stories! The levels of translation for four Hieroglyphs are given. Then at the end is the translation into scriptural form. You will recognize the similarities, what is incomplete from the Bible, and what is missing from the Bible.

From my books from the Translating the Hieroglyphic Vignettes series, I demonstrate how to translate the Egyptian illustrations containing deities. I pointed out that this was how Joseph Smith translated his Book of Abraham text. And I pointed out that Joseph Smith's translation was not complete. I therefore make a more complete textual translation of the facsimiles and other vignettes from the Book of Breathings and maybe even the Book of the Dead papyri.
