I don't mingle with the monsters. Sorry, creatures and beasts. They're not "monsters" unless they prey on humanity. Except, it's just a matter of time for most of them, right? Then a frustratingly helpful and sinfully handsome werewolf walks through my door, and I can't help thinking that maybe I'm wrong to paint all the magical creatures with the same brush. Maybe I'm into a man with more than a touch of wild inside him.

I'm not crazy; that's just what my sisters call me. So I like to kill monsters. All the Van Helsing sisters do. So I have a knack for tracking creatures that prey on humans. It's my family's vocation. So I tracked a sexy human one night. Yeah...that we're not supposed to do.

I'm not like my sisters. For me, monster hunting is just a job. But it's a job I'm damn good at, and our guild leader has been screwing me over with newb assignments. I might need to kick his ass. After I grope it. I might not be the most passionate monster hunter, but I like more than a touch of sin in my off hours.

I hunt monsters alone. It’s my thing. Strong, silent, and self-sufficient. Except that one time when I partnered with ice witch Aiden. I never should have agreed to help him, because now he thinks I’m his go-to backup gal. Spoiler: I’m no one’s second-in-command. I’m the bitch running the show.
