Unplanned Princess Series

Zaena has been sent as an Elven emissary to learn and build a relationship with humanity. She's only two hundred and fifty years old, so time should be on her side. Except she gets involved in a brutal gang war in the first month of landing on the shores of the West Coast of the United States. San Francisco, to be exact. Zaena quickly learns that her knowledge of humanity is closer to the twentieth than the present-day twenty-first century. So much for her teachers' study of humanity's television shows.

Just when you think you understand life, an elf throws you a curveball. Zaena has to deal with a recalcitrant elf who won't listen to reason and doesn't care about his people or hers. He is out for himself. Unfortunately for him, his gang headquarters is smack-dab on top of a location Zaena needs. To further complicate matters, the gang wars in San Francisco have attracted the attention of humans who might know too much for Zaena's safety. Will she be able to negotiate her way out of this situation with words or power?

Zaena's recent assault against the gangs has devastated not only her elven enemy but struck the heart of San Francisco's organized crime. Will she get any credit for that? Unlikely. With the city secure and her newfound control of the nexus, is she ready to move on to the next stage of her plan? Displays of power invite challenges from the strong, but not all challengers are honorable.

Zaena is rebuilding the club over the nexus with a plan to make it a powerful symbol of hope in Chinatown. However, she has not forgotten the mission to help her people. Thousands of years ago, diplomacy failed, and she has only hope to convince her it'll work this time. Team Princess has advanced too far to succeed without the help of powerful humans. Zaena doesn't know whom to trust when every human around her wants to take advantage of her power for their own agenda. A surprising request from an ally forces her into a deadly race against time.
