Despite her son’s vehement objections, Rose buys the ramshackle Caribbean beachfront bed and breakfast. She’s confident that she can oversee the work in time for the start of tourist season. That is until the Health Inspector locks them out of the building. Desperate to get the crew back to work she pleads with the plumber to get the key and finish at least one bathroom. The plumber has his own agenda. Rose’s confidence is nearly destroyed by this major setback. Can Rose and her crew finish the job before the first guest arrives?

Her first guests are in residence and one of them acts like the hurricane with its wind, rain, and power outages is a personal affront.

Whispers of spies on the island begin to circulate. Someone threatens to unmask them. Rose’s peaceful retreat risks becoming a battleground.
