Meet Camron Reese, a mostly normal guy, all things considered. Camron has knack for writing, although he never aspired to be an author. His style is raw, unfiltered, and open to the point that it makes listeners squirm in their seats, for various reasons. This leads him on a journey where he publishes a best seller, and shortly after, his book is turned into a movie that becomes a household name. While he is happy about the success, this is still not ideal for young Cam, who doesn't like the spotlight very much, and realizes that getting out of the city would be the best plan for him.

The world as we know it is now gone. Everyday life has now been changed forever for everyone. A militant group named The First Wave has made sure that life was altered by setting off EMPs in our atmosphere. This act was in conjunction with an all-out attack throughout the country, to take over entirely. The Day Of: Awakening will put us back with our group, who must deal with the heartbreak of losing members of their group in the Battle of Sterling Ridge. They will also try to rebuild the lives they once had, all while learning about new threats to their well-being.

Cam is now imprisoned by The First Wave. Franklin and his men are firmly entrenched in the region. Cam has high hopes for a rescue attempt by his people, but the odds of it being successful are very thin. Hope is still fighting the good fight, guerilla warfare-style, and still turning heads in the process...but plans to take back the region from The First Wave are not imminent. The Republic and The Free US are silent. It has become time for the group of refugees to leave everything that they know, everything that has kept them alive for years now...ever since the beginning.

Amid the turmoil of what is going on in the world, Cam has now learned he is about to be a father...maybe two times over. In addition to that, an old face may be ushering in a new opportunity for our group to regain the lives they once had, or at least to NOT have to live the lives they have been.... But can it be trusted?

20 years have passed since "The Boston Incident", where our group finally gained the upper hand on their enemy... The First Wave and their ruthless leader General Tim Franklin. Life is now somewhat back to normal. Of course, the scars of what is now called the 2nd civil war still show. Those scars show most to Tyler Reese.... Cam's youngest son. At the age of 20, Tyler's interest in exactly who his father was during the war takes him over. Even though Camron Reese is a household name around the country, Tyler cannot find the reasons why.
