The Adventures of Baron Von Monocle

Her father's been pronounced dead. Destructive earthquakes ravage the countryside. An invading army looms over the horizon. And Zaira's day is just getting started. Abandoned at an early age, Zaira von Monocle found life as the daughter of a great adventurer to be filled with hard work and difficulty. She quickly learned to rely on only herself. But when a messenger brought news that her father was dead and that she was the heir to his airship, her world turned upside down.

Zaira von Monocle is getting the hang of commanding her airship when crisis hits her homeland, Rislandia. Caught in a terrible cycle of withdrawal from their power-serum, Wyranth soldiers are ravaging the countryside in a berserk rage. The Grand Rislandian Army has been unable to slow their bloodthirsty advance. The Wyranth’s serum has its origin in legend, a children’s tale about giants roaming the land of Zenwey, far across the ocean. Zaira must take the Liliana and her crew to this faraway land, in hopes that she might find a cure before the Wyranth take even more lives.

The Wyranth army has pressed all the way to Rislandia’s capital. No one’s been able to slow their advance. Zaira can’t believe how far the war escalated in a few short months. She took her airship to a foreign continent when her country needed her the most, all because the conniving enemy emperor sold her on a pack of lies. She has no time for regrets. The king needs to be air-lifted to safety. Bombs need to be dropped on the advancing enemy army. Civilians need supplies and food before they die of sickness and starvation. It’s a lot to ask of one girl.

Zaira von Monocle is on the verge of sacrificing her life as an airship commander, because the ruler of Wyranth Empire demands her as a bride. The war has devastated Zaira's home country, leaving her little choice but to do as the Iron Emperor wishes. But a new threat looms over the horizon as she tries to bring about peace between these two warring countries, one which neither the Wyranth nor Rislandia are prepared to encounter.
