Surprises await 13-year-old Vicki Gray as her summer vacation begins with an unexpected twist. Having to spend two weeks with her great-aunt Mary on an island off the coast of Georgia, she experiences a lifestyle very different from her own in tech-savvy Manhattan. Still, as she discovers first adventure and then love, Vicki realizes change isn't always bad, and renewing family bonds can create lasting memories that transcend generations.
