New Cases of Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes is hired by an impresario named Harvey Barker to find his missing wife, Bian. Holmes investigates the circus scene and stumbles upon a case involving a tattoo. The case is gruesome and bizarre, and Holmes and Watson must track down an unscrupulous collector.

Together with Dr. John Watson, he investigates in sinister opium dens and a mysterious moated castle. Along the way, he meets a shady opera singer, an enigmatic gnome, and a derelict abortionist.

When Sherlock Holmes finds Doctor Watson dead in their shared apartment, he is arrested by the London police. He is suspected of murdering his best friend. A seamless chain of evidence points to this, and even Mrs. Hudson is convinced of the master detective's guilt.

A ravenous beast seems to be wreaking havoc on Hampstead Heath, immediately evoking memories of the infamous Hound of the Baskervilles. During excavations in London, the remains of Oliver Cromwell are discovered – and promptly stolen. A steward is murdered while crossing the Channel. And to make matters worse, Holmes is being hired by the King of England to handle a sensitive matter as discreetly as possible.

Sherlock Holmes is asked for help by an old friend whose daughter has been kidnapped. The English detective travels to Hamburg and becomes embroiled in an adventure that apparently has its origins in an Indian legend and the cholera epidemic of 1892.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson attempt to solve the mystery surrounding the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. In doing so, they meet survivors of the disaster, including the mastermind of a dangerous conspiracy. Hot on his heels is the woman who once outwitted Holmes: Irene Adler, the woman in the great detective's life. A fierce battle erupts once again between Holmes and Irene Adler.
