Legacy of Dragonwand Trilogy

Over 1,000 years ago, nearly all the ancient wizards were destroyed after the Wizard Wars. However, the one who started the war still remains, having worked his will in secret. If he can find the last Dragonwand, he will regain his powers as the dark dragon. Unaware of the Dragonwand or the betrayer, 16-year-old Markus is looking for a wizard who will give him a letter of recommendation for the College of Wizardry. During his journey, he stumbles upon Tolen the Wise, who sends Markus on a quest.

As the search for the legendary Dragonwand continues, Markus and his trio of travelers find themselves in unfamiliar territory traversing the countryside for clues to its whereabouts, while Hallond persists with his plans to rule the Kingdom. But the closer they get to obtaining the Dragonwand, the more evil lurks around every corner, and even those creatures that seem the most unassuming are a threat to the group. Captain Morris persists in his effort to foil their plans of freeing Gallenor from imminent destruction, aligning himself with the Shlan.

Crystal is in danger, the land is in peril, and Markus must decide between the darkness and the light in order to restore peace to Gallenor. As the line between friend and foe becomes more skewed, Hallond grows more powerful and wicked, spurring the harsh reality that death may be the only thing separating Markus from his destiny: to wield the most powerful weapon of all time - the Dragonwand! 

Gallenor is once again at peace. Hallond the Terrible has been defeated, and Markus has remerged as the first dragon in over a 1,000 years. Now, it's time to learn to master his powers in school at the College of Wizardry near Thendor. But Markus finds that life as a powerful wizard is more complicated than he assumed, as he struggles to split his time between learning, working with the provisional government in Thendor, and building his relationship with Crystal.

The thoughts and memories of famed magic wielder Tolen the Wise inhabit young wizard Markus’s head. They teach and guide him in his development as a Master Wizard. He leaves school and apprentices with a new Master Wizard to increase his powers. He learns from each province's surrounding provinces, honing his sorcery skills.
