If you do not already know it, my name is Elvis Lupo. I am an experienced trader with 13 years of experience, multiple years working for large banks, a degree in finance and a master degree in computer science. I bought my first real estate property thanks to crypto gains and I am buying my second one right now. I will retire after this series of books. This is my last mission and despite that I love capitalism, I am not doing this only for money. I want to go right to the point and to tell you what this book really is about. The goal is to give you as much value as possible by means of useful information and practical tips that will allow you to both fully understand the theory and learn how to make actual profits in practice within the crypto space.

The main technology underlying all cryptocurrencies is called Blockchain. This is a relatively simple technology concept in theory yet its development and possible applications are potentially infinite and surely revolutionary. It is important for you to understand that crypto is a complicated subject overall because is quite broad and require interdisciplinary skills for a full understanding. But we will cut all the corners to get there faster. How? I will debone the topics and teach you only what you really need in practice.

I will explain to you how to set up your trading account and start investing safely. There are different ways to trade, some require more digital skills and can be risky if not used correctly, such as using decentralized wallets. Other ways instead are easier and safer for beginners, for example trading on centralized exchanges or bank accounts. Centralized exchanges also have flaws and risks in terms of money ownership but you will understand later why as a beginner they are still the best starting point for your first trades.

We will go through the main tools and metrics that can be used to assess the value and the prospects of a crypto project. We will also see what are the most used platform and websites that provide those tools and metrics. We will see that combining and understanding all the information from multiple platforms and tools is key for a proper analysis and for success.

I will teach you which are the types of investors and the types of analysis that they use. You need to know this not because you have to become one of them (as statistically most of them lose money) but because you have to become all of them and know how to anticipate them and get your profits out of them. When you are investing you are not playing against a machine or a computer, you are playing versus other people just like you, and the only way to win is to be always one step ahead of other investors.
