Chronicles of R'nan

Who am I? It's not a question someone should ask themselves. There are deep black crevices in my memory, shards that I can't seem to grasp. Ghosts that linger within every nook and cranny of my memories. Nightmares that cling to a child. It was like one day I woke up, and realized, I'm not who I believed I am. I'm not the Johanna I once knew. Things are different now that I've woken up. No one is who they say they are. Not me. Not you. Not the person you love the most. So, the question still stands, who am I? And who are you?

That which you do not fear. Can’t hurt you. At least that’s what my momma used to say. I grew up on farms all around the country. Farms that my father could flip around for a profit. But this one was different. It has a grasp on us. On my family. I knew the moment my father named it “The Crow Farm,” we wouldn’t be leaving. At least… not alive. R’nan is an old place, the land much older. Stained and tainted. This house, this farm has a story to tell, and the thing telling it is Charlie. A silhouette, shrouded in mist. And if you’re not careful, and don't pay attention… Well.

Two unfortunate souls, who have no right to meet. Spins a tale full of pain. Death.
