That which you do not fear. Can’t hurt you. At least that’s what my momma used to say. I grew up on farms all around the country. Farms that my father could flip around for a profit. But this one was different. It has a grasp on us. On my family. I knew the moment my father named it “The Crow Farm,” we wouldn’t be leaving. At least… not alive. R’nan is an old place, the land much older. Stained and tainted. This house, this farm has a story to tell, and the thing telling it is Charlie. A silhouette, shrouded in mist. But with him at her heels, he wanted to give her a reason. A single reason. To breathe another day. A killer. A maniac. A hunter. Cold and empty. Soulless. Cursed to live among the living. Who craves to live. Haunted. Tortured. Scarred. Full of darkness, with cracks of light. Forced to live with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Who craves to die. Two unfortunate souls, who have no right to meet. Spins a tale full of pain. Death.
