"Boring? Tiresome? Predictable? We'll see about that."

"I loved this book. it was well written, kept my interest from the very beginning up to the end of it and when I was done, it was one of the books I put on my read again shelf, a keeper. it was that good! I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could!" (Loraine O. - Five Stars)

"So, I couldn’t give this book any less than the full 5 stars. Too often subs are portrayed as weak, bewildered and passive, and Doms as over aggressive, control freaks. Nothing could be further from the truth. I loved that the Trish was bratty, and had real power within the relationship, and that Clint had vulnerabilities. Getting the balance right in this genre is a real talent. Deanndra Hall has talent to spare. As for the sex, forgetaboutit!!!! You have never read sex as hot as this before!!!! Turn on the air con, you’re gonna need it! It is the perfect book, thank you, thank you, Deanndra Hall." (Michelle R. - Five Stars)

"I love Deanndra Hall's books. She has a way of making everyone sexy. This book is the same way. I loved following Trish's journey as her life went from destroyed to redeemed between the pages. This story made me laugh, cry, and curse out loud at point in the story. These characters become so real, you forget you are reading a book. I found myself rooting for her, hoping beyond hope that her story would have a good ending. I guess you will have to read it to find out." (Miss Heidi - Five Stars)

"Chalk this one up as a timeless story with a heavy dose of kink. It has earned a spot on my keeper shelf." (Carole, The Romance Reviews - Five Stars)

When Trish's husband of almost 30 years announces that he's leaving her because she's "boring," she sets out to find an adventure. Her attempt to drink her heartbreak away drops her onto a handsome gentleman who invites her to have an adventure, and Trish can't help but say yes.

She embarks on that adventure, but her path keeps crossing with that of another - Clint Winstead, a Dominant at the club, Bliss, and the one person in the place who seems to despise her. And that's fine with Trish. After all, there are plenty of other Doms there who want to play.

But when an annual event at the club throws Trish and Clint together for two weeks, both of them are horrified, not by the pairing, but by the feelings they're trying hard to deny. As the time passes, it's harder and harder to deny what they know is true - that is, until one nearly-tragic incident that almost changes both their lives irreparably. And when Trish realizes that continuing on with her commitment could cost her the ultimate - her life - she knows that it has to end. But does it?

Trish is the queen of second chances. But this second chance might just come at a price too high to pay. A little adventure is a good thing, but perhaps she's gotten far more adventure than she can handle.
