David fell off a stepladder and broke a coffee cup. It was not just a coffee cup that experienced change that day. The fall somehow linked David to a telepathic alien race, far across the Universe. From that day on, not only was David’s life changed, but so were the aliens.

Although I did not live through the Second World War, I think I gained an idea of what life was like for my parents during that time. This book is an attempt to pass on my understanding of their experiences. Details of the stories have been recreated to the best of my memory, but are often creatively enhanced, and fictitious characters have been included to support the telling of my parents’ stories.

This is the continuing story of the Lightning People who exist amongst us. They have lived alongside normal humans for untold centuries. Once, they were just like us, but after being struck by lightning, they were changed. These changes are not visible to others but the Lightning People see auras around normal humans, they do not age, and are they are sterile.

In 1903 Kenneth’s life was transformed. He could see our Auras. We can’t see anything different about him. But even he did not realise the full extent of the changes he had endured. Then he discovered the Lightning People. Although not immortal, they have lifespans vastly greater than ours. But amongst the Lightning People are Rouges who are selfish, cunning, and dangerous.
