The Xiao 2 facility, composed of three subsurface ocean stations, awaits his team below hundreds of meters of ice and kilometers underwater. Upon arrival, he discovers the Xiao 2 facility has experienced an epidemic, leaving most of the station’s personnel either dead or dying. Or transforming. As the team examines the find, a debilitating sickness spreads among them. They have released Lamashtu, the bringer of disease and death, and must find a way to destroy it.

Joseph is having a bad day. Temperatures are soaring, the air-conditioning in his truck has died, and his boss is being a bigger jerk than usual. Things couldn't possibly get any worse. And then he begins to see sinister-looking mimes around the city of Houston. As more of the silent, ominous clowns appear during his deliveries, Joseph starts to wonder if he's losing his mind.

After Ellen and another guest encounter a massive glowing crab, everything changes. As the days go by, Bill realizes something is wrong with nearly everyone on the island, especially his wife. Feeling alone and outnumbered, he investigates and discovers horrors beyond imagination.

It was just another fishing trip for Stew, his wife, and their friends until the storm. Forced off-course to avoid the worst of the swells and lightning, the boat floats into a dead zone filled with large, glowing jellies. Upon investigating an adrift boat, the creatures attack them, sickening one of their party. With the Coast Guard on their way to evacuate them, the four have to survive until help arrives.
