Unfortunately it wasn’t long until the communist Soviets got their hands on dragon eggs and birthed their own arsenal of dragons. Now it’s 2025, the Cold War is still raging, the world is on the brink, and America’s best defense is still its dragons.

When archaeologist Daniel Weston discovers an ancient map buried in the ruins of Pompeii – a map rumored to lead to treasure looted from the shores of Egypt – he doesn’t know the menacing forces that will be unleashed. Hours later, Carabinieri Detective Angelo Mazetti is summoned to the rocky shores of Sorrento and discovers Daniel’s brutal murder. Short on leads, Mazetti teams up with Daniel’s longtime friends and fellow archaeologists, Jake and Nicole Stewart, as they unravel clues from the ancient map in hopes of solving the crime.
