Ever get a job that sucks? My name is Iza Black and my life is the sucky job. I mean yeah, there are perks. Live-in maid service, free food, and I get this purple, sparkly aura thing. But there are way more bad parts. So many people, so much pain. Sleep has divorced me completely, and I'm living their nightmares now too. I'm not sure I'm strong enough for this, that I can do what needs to be done. But I have to. Because it's my job . . . because someone needs to. These people need violence to meet violence. Pretend Ma told me the terrible things done to me were for the greater good. That I would be a hero and fight for those who can't fight for themselves. I'm not so sure about that. I am sure that my time in this world is drawing to a close. I'm okay with that. I even wish for it some days. Then, I meet him. Mr. Glowy Eyes. I'm also sure I'm a monster, and I'm certain that he's so much worse than that. But he also shows me something important. Very important. Do you want to know what it is?

My financial situation is beyond desperate and that stripper pole is looking better and better, but I refuse to put on the baby oil just yet. There’s got to be some other way to break this job-jinx. Luck is not on my side - until I spot the Crow’s feather. The wind - like my life - is against me and decides to try and keep me from my prize. I follow it. I really want that feather, and end up at this gloomy, creepy building that I don't recall ever seeing before. And as fate would have it.... There's a now hiring sign on the front gate.

Trick and treat. Daya the nutbag decided that the best way to build a relationship with his daughter was to kidnap her. The guys try to stage a rescue and fail, so I decide that I'm sick of sitting and waiting for rescue. I'm going to rescue myself. One of the first things I'm going to do when I get home...I'm going to kiss the smirk off of Trick's face. If I survive my escape.
