Archelologist Jonas Biggs has been hired to do the dig at Andersonville Prison, the worst POW camp during the Civil War. He has taken along his niece, Savannah Biggs, the only child of his twin brother, John. As the past is uncovered, the Biggs family get much more than they bargained for. The Morgan and Herrington series revolves around a cynical, sarcastic female bounty hunter named Alex Morgan and Hope Harrington, a downtrodden, mousy secretary, who meet when Alex mistakes Hope for the "jumper" she's in hot pursuit of and slaps the cuffs on. After this zany encounter, the two collude, with the result being one of the most tongue-in-cheek and hilarious mysteries written.

The bodies are piling up in Key West outside a famous drag bar. Is that a clue or a coincidence? Is it a serial killer? The story is seen through the eyes of the main character - and what eyes they are! Lou, the mild-mannered detective by day and a fabulous drag queen (Lola) by night, can get into all kinds of trouble! The head detective, O'Leary, and Lou (Lola) go on a case that has been haunting them since their days in the Big Apple.
