Containing no shortage of miracles, The Gospel of Mark starts with Jesus’s adult life, focusing on his ministry. Written in a unique and concise manner, The Gospel of Mark is considered to be the oldest piece of the tetralogy of gospels, and is critical to one’s understanding of Jesus and his relationship with the people around him.

Following the work of Apostles Peter and Paul, The Book of Acts focuses on the Holy Spirit and presents the first thirty years of the church. Written with great poise and attention to detail, The Book of Acts is pivotal to The Gospels’s teachings.

Written by Paul, The Book of Ephesians highlights God’s blessings and the steps to fulfilment through God. Paul writes about how a life lived on earth is still lived through the purpose of God, and calls for the uniting of “all things in heaven and on earth” under Christ (1:10). The Book of Ephesians is a quick listen, but is still as important as the rest of the New American Standard Bible (NASB).

The Book of Romans follows the Apostle Paul, his teachings, and his writings to the Romans. Guided by faith, Paul travels throughout the land spreading the words and lessons of God and Jesus Christ. Paul remains adamant that all people can be saved, especially those who have sinned. Righteousness propels him, and The Book of Romans remains one of the most important readings for those looking to the word of God.

Often referred to as “the most beautiful book ever written,” The Gospel of Luke is an extremely detailed account that delves into the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The writings focus on Jesus’s wide range of miracles as he moves through the land and life. The New American Standard Bible has been widely embraced as a literal and accurate English translation because it consistently uses the formal equivalence translation and philosophy.

The NASB 2020 is the latest update of the NASB 1995. This newest version further improves accuracy where possible and modernizes language.
