Mars. October 2135. Captain Paul Reiter must prepare for war. His homeland, The Republic of Tharsis, stands on the brink of war with it's neighbor the Union of Mars. As a member of the republic's Provincial Watch, Reiter must prepare his soldiers for battle with an utterly ruthless enemy. Their weapon: Powerful Mecha known the system over as panzerters. He must leave behind his life as a teaching assistant to lead a rag-tag team of pilots in defense of their homeland. However, things won't be easy for him.

For rookie pilot Roland Horn, it's a waiting room. War broke out on the surface of Mars, and yet he's seen nothing. The thrill of putting aging panzerters through their paces has long worn off. When he receives a distress call from a damaged freighter, he jumps at the break in his tedium. However, his daring rescue inadvertently allows an enemy spy to reach their objectives.

In a stunning display of violence and brutality, the final battles of the Martian Great War begin. With his forces advancing towards the last link between Union forces on the ground and in space, Colonel Reiter leads a regiment of veterans. Battles in Ironton, Pulaski, the mountains of Baltica, and the Union frontier have hardened his soldiers and sharpened their skills to a keen edge. It's this reason he's given his most dangerous mission yet.

It took over a year, but Lieutenant Colonel Paul Reiter’s Black Lion regiment has finally liberated their homes. Though they’ve returned to where they started, their war is far from over. A few miles from their hometowns, a massive line of fortifications and defenses sprawls across the border into the Union.

For Commander Roland horn, he finds his special operations squadron put to use in increasingly dangerous operations. Most of the Union Fleet outside the Mars Sphere is held up in the Avalonian space fortress Trafalger. High command would have left the fortress at the whims of a simple blockade were Trafalger not running cover for Union convoys to the outer solar system. Convoys that don't seem to return.

Roland Horn's promotion to Lieutenant Commander is still warm when he's handed his most difficult assignment yet. Ronald must stand up a second special forces squadron, leading them with the rest of Task Force Cobalt in an attack on the last Union outpost in the asteroid belt.

Ensign Roland Horn still has a lot to learn. While preparing for guerilla operations against the larger Union fleet, The Promise squadron is given a new mission: Pick up an intelligence operative with vital information critical to the war effort.

Captain Paul Reiter has enough on his plate. Relegated to a secondary front low on supplies, Reiter is still fighting for the day he can liberate his home. But when he discovers a dead man from a neutral country, it sends ripples throughout the the war. Who is Winona? What is her relation to the hidden lab Fox Company is searching for? And most importantly, who is the traitor?

Captain Paul Reiter is running out of time and space. As fierce Winter storms set in Western Tharsis, the war has ground to a stalemate. The Union no longer advances in miles, but meters. As the storms ground aircraft and shroud the battlefields in fog and snow, Reiter must stop the bleeding. He needs to win his homeland back. To do that, however, he must overcome one of the most implacable men on Mars: Declan Kennedy. Engineered and trained from birth to be the perfect soldier, and pilot, Kennedy is one of many artificial soldiers to swell the Union's ranks.

Staff Sergeant Henry Wells feels like he's seen it all. When he finds himself sitting on a month of leave after his latest deployment, the Green Beret spends it in the Montana badlands with his brother. He hasn't seen his paleontologist brother in years, but digging up old bones and cooking for grad students seems like a welcome break from the endless training and chaos of his last 10 years.

When a mysterious signal begins reaching out into deep space, Captain Henry Wells, Commander Qrora, and the rest of Midnight November are understandably concerned. Fearing an ancient enemy of the M'nok is about to attack. Henry and Qrora lead an expedition to the moon to uncover the source of the mysterious signal, and more importantly, to shut it down.

After failing to stop a devastating Union attack, ace pilot Roland Horn finds himself with millions of lives on his conscience. With both sides Mars Fleets out of commission, the Wildcard Squadron is transferred to the Asteroid Belt, a front quickly shaping up to be the most important. A Union dominated belt means millions of Tharcian civilians will be cut off from the homeland, and the forces on Mars will be cut off from the raw materials and fuel they need to win.

In the wake of a horrific Union attack, millions are dead. Reiter must assume command of his regiment for the largest operation yet. Their target: to retake the provincial capital of Pulaski and open up the Union homeland to invasion. His soldiers are exhausted from countless battles, but the hope of liberating their homes inspires them to press on. Everything is on the line. If the Tharcians cannot retake their capital, then it's unlikely they'll have another shot.

Henry Wells and Qrora figured this day would come. The same forces that wiped out a galactic civilization are descending on the Solar System in numbers. But the Earth won't go quietly into the dark night. Her people have been preparing new weapons, ships, and technologies to turn the tide of battle. They practiced strategies and tactics to deny any advantage to the enemy.
