The smoke from Yojun’s assault in Asheya poured out in every direction across Zuhetta, blanketing much of the continent in a haze. The blue skies over Zufa’zuf were blotted out for a period, and lightning flashes replaced the sun.

The third book of the series but certainly not the last, continuing a portion of the story arc through various characters. Old names and some new faces carry on this intense spiritual war for the world. The scope of this book is smaller, delving further into certain backstories and interactions, nonetheless maintaining the series' massive overall scale. Heroes and angels take on every manner of darkness in an all out, cataclysmic war for Harth.

Harth has been the center of a great spiritual war since the archangel Dom'rel led a rebellion in Eternity many years before. Even the beings that predate the archangels, the Celestials, have taken part. Both have fallen from the Light's grace, leading to primordial conflicts, but humanity has been blessed with a number of heroic gifts. Many of those gifts have lain dormant for centuries, only to resurface now at Harth's greatest time of need.

Rogue and wicked spiritual principalities are tearing Harth asunder, engulfing both land and people in a cataclysm of darkness. The Light's alliance takes shape in a war where evil rolls over itself in an endless power struggle, as entire civilizations are brought to hollow husks of their former glory. The beautiful cycle of death and rebirth plays out in spectacles of ancient might.

We will be starting with Zuhetta, in the state still known as Dema, and the BFC (Bonfire City) therein. As a territory, Dema survived military actions taken in the ages past. As Emi-Shet was a super-city territory in Mol’do, the BFC is now the same as Zuhetta. Its ordinary boundaries had long since expanded East and West, now at an impressive 1,001 km sq.
