Will AI take over?

The evolution of artificial intelligence can be traced back to the mid-20th century, when foundational concepts were first introduced by pioneers in computer science. Early developments focused on creating machines that could mimic human reasoning and problem-solving capabilities. These initial efforts laid the groundwork for the sophisticated algorithms and machine learning techniques that underpin modern AI systems.

Lan Carter hated these windowless Troop Transports more than he hated anything else in life. It was true that he hated war in general, with every gram of his being, but yet he hated these windowless Troop Transports even more. A soldier couldn't see what he was being dropped into, was the whole issue! The Brass didn't want the Infantry Soldier to see what he, or she, was being dropped into, of course, because it only gave them time to become terrified. Terror was nonproductive.

This is the original Chronicles of a Space Mercenary, but now edited by William Motzel. I wrote this book in the old school style and as with the classics of old, you will find action, adventure, romance, and a bit more.

Evolution-A short story. I wanted to post this as free but it isn't allowed. That said, I really like this short story. It has a moral story to tell.

A dissertation.
