Une envoûtante saga familiale sur les effets dévastateurs de la guerre. Novembre 1972, Hanoi. Face aux rumeurs d'offensive américaine, Huong et sa grand-mère, Dieu Lan, décident d'abandonner la capitale pour rejoindre les campagnes vietnamiennes.
