Enchanted by the Boleyn family, Beth only returned to the present day when life at Henry VIII’s court started to take a darker turn. When 20-year-old history student Beth Wickers starts her second year of university, she has no idea that her whole world is about to be turned upside down. Beth’s favorite lecturer gives Beth a box of books on Tudor history to borrow, and nestled among them is an ornate cypher ring with the letters "AB" inscribed onto it. When Beth tries the ring on, the unimaginable happens. It carries her back through time to Hever Castle in 1521.

Beth Wickers, back home and with the time-slip behind her, is busy preparing for her PhD. However, once again, she’s forced to return to Tudor England to rectify the history, but also to reconnect with the secret love of her life, George Boleyn. Things don’t go to plan, though, and she finds herself time-slipping to the Tower of London in 1536, where she witnesses an execution that sends her slipping back three years with an overwhelming dilemma.

Beth Wickers, with yet another Tudor time-slip behind her, returns to university to continue with her PhD in history. However, she has a lot to deal with besides studying, and these issues are directly connected with her last Tudor experience. Though she appreciates her family and friends, and space to heal, she can’t deny that a significant part of her life is missing. Knowing how little time there is before fate catches up with those she loves, she’s compelled to return to Tudor life to make the most of what might remain for her to experience with Queen Anne, and George Boleyn.

In the vast tapestry of human existence, there is a powerful force, often underestimated and frequently overlooked. It is a force that resides within each and every one of us, given to us as a gift by God or the Universe, whatever ‘higher power’ you choose to believe in, waiting patiently to be harnessed and set free.
