Awakening, the ultimate achievement, the number one way to ensure a successful future. Alexa has come a long way in her journey to awakening as a super while also getting caught in all of the political intrigue that follows. Immediately, Alexa finds herself drawn into the evil plans of a mad Countess who, at one point, turned her back on her own daughter, only to return now with a vengeance. Alexa is forced to choose between saving the life of her brother and rupturing the family bonds of her now-best friend. From there, things grow only worse.

Moving is always tough. The process becomes exponentially tough when you find out that the supposedly vacant land you have chosen out in the middle of nowhere is actually an ancient elven burial ground. Normally, the process would require a brutal battle to the death, but as always, finding an alternate solution is possible. However, the possible solution becomes complicated, to say the least. This complication allows for a temporary reprieve of hostilities, allowing life to move on. As always, training must be conducted.

Patience, dedication, persistence—these are but some of the qualities that form a hero. While each hero ultimately walks a different path of ascension, they all strive to reach the same destination. Alexa is no different in her path to becoming a hero. Striving forward in her academic life, she balances her personal relationships, hidden addictions, and ever-emerging dual personalities. Constantly battling between the person she has always been and the person she wishes to be, all while being forced to walk a far more treacherous path than anyone has ever had to stride before to become a hero.

The world has finally opened up to Cass who now has the chance and opportunity to go out, explore the wonders of the world and make magical mistakes along the way. Many many magical mistakes. Aided by friends, she will embark on discovering the hidden wonders of the world, while ultimately finding herself, and who she wants to be.

The world is changing, altering its very foundations to accommodate one tiny healer with a dream of making it rich, while stuck being Broke. It’s in her blood, and her soul, yet she is still limited by her past flaws.
