A series of murders brings JERUSALEM “SALEM” KANE back to the little town in Missouri only three months after closing two separate cases there. This time a number of men who had gone missing over the course of several months are discovered in mass grave, completely drained of bodily fluid and appearing to have aged sixty to eighty years upon their death. Salem knows only one creature that could’ve done this: A Succubus. Salem is a private investigator hired to find a young girl abducted from her school in the middle of the school day. Local authorities have had zero leads and no good suspects for months and have hit a dead-end. Salem has his own theory, but it leads down a much darker path than he anything the local police could imagine or are equipped to deal with. His investigation is nearly cut short before it could really get underway, when on his first night in town, he finds himself trapped at the beginning of a murder investigation; the killer working very hard to make sure he's the prime suspect.
