Have you ever found yourself so immersed in a task that you completely lose track of time? You look up from your task to discover that hours have passed in what seems like just a matter of moments. Your focus was so intense that the world around you faded away and all that mattered was the task in front of you. And you absolutely crushed the task you were working on. How often do you experience what I just described? My guess would be not very often. Most of us find ourselves extremely distracted when we try to do our work.

It’s been said that successful people are just ordinary people with extraordinary habits. This might seem rather mundane. Most of us were either taught or came to believe that success is a rare combination of talents that only a few people are lucky enough to be born with. Each of us knows someone successful, but can’t quite put our finger on why they’re so successful.

The dreaded midlife crisis doesn’t strike everyone, but it’s a common enough occurrence that everyone is familiar with the concept. If you find yourself in the middle of one, your own concern is finding your way out. There are many theories about what causes this common phenomenon in one’s older adult years. Many cultures, including Japanese and Indian, don’t seem to suffer from midlife crises. At least part of the issue seems to be influenced by culture.

Are you pleased with your life journey? How do you spend your days? Do you engage in projects that bring fulfillment to you? When you’re living a life of personal empowerment, your passion will overflow onto those around you. And as the passion permeates the very air you breathe, you’ll feel confident and in control of your life because you can produce all the things you want for yourself and your loved ones.

Productivity looks different to different people, but the feeling is universal. For one person, creating an incredible presentation or meeting the needs of a specific client can make them feel amazing. For another, it may mean developing a new product or coming up with a new design. For you, it may be completely different, but you know the good feeling you get by putting in a productive day.

Yes, anyone can become powerful–even you! However, it’s necessary to work hard and be persistent, intelligent, strategic, and possess a willingness to be very assertive from time to time. The key to becoming powerful is the development of these skills and their intelligent application.

Having a child is easy. Raising a child is not. No job is more important, frustrating, or rewarding than raising a happy, confident, and successful child. Raising happy, capable children is one part science, and two parts art. No two children are exactly the same. Each child has his own strengths and weaknesses. Each child has a unique set of challenges. One child might be great at school while struggling socially, while another may have plenty of friends but struggle to deal with their emotions.

Because you’re a working mom, you know how tough it can be to get everything done and still have time for yourself and your relationship. In addition to spending time with your children, your kid’s extracurricular activities, meal planning and preparation, and keeping your home clean and organized, you’ve still got to be conscientious about your job.
