Empathy is something we all feel at one time or another in our lives. It is a necessary human experience and the ability to have a compassionate sense of feeling for another person. You may not have considered yourself an empath before, because our culture hasn't considered it for a long time. It's a valid diagnosis for a person and empaths often end up being accused of being overly sensitive, sometimes sick or depressed, anti-social, and reclusive. If you think that you may be an empath and want to find out how to help you embrace your gift, then don't look any further.

The way I would like to explain it, an empath is a person who feels everything around them. This can also expand to people far away that they may be connected to in life. Empaths are susceptible to the “vibrations” or “frequencies” of others around them. An easy way to explain this is, perhaps, you have known someone in your life who seem always to know when something is wrong.

The Enneagram describes, in a surprisingly precise way, different aspects of human experience and nine different types of characters, each with specific mental, emotional, and sensory patterns. We can define character as that pattern of beliefs, emotional attitudes, and habitual behaviors that we call "myself". Your next steps will be defined by your desires.
